Ten seconds was all it took to change this little girl’s life.

DJ Adam Beyer shared over the weekend that his young daughter, Uma, was hit by a speeding car in Ibiza and is currently in hospital recovering.

“Sometimes life stops in the most unexpected way,” the Swedish music producer and DJ shared on Instagram, alongside a photo with his little girl.

“Last Saturday night one of my daughters was hit by a car at fairly high speed while crossing the road.

“For a brief moment in time, she was with her friends having fun. Ten seconds later lying on the street with a severe trauma to the head.”

He shared that Uma was put into an induced coma and airlifted to a hospital in Mallorca.

“Over the last five days we have gone from not knowing if she would survive to seeing her talk, eat, smile and slowly but surely come back to us,” he said of himself and his ex-wife, fellow Swedish DJ Ida Engberg.

“She had an angel by her side and I can only describe it as a miracle.”

He took the opportunity to thank the staff at his daughter’s intensive care unit, as well as well-wishers for the family.

“We hope and pray Uma will be fully back with us very soon. Until then i will fully focus solely on her recovery,” he shared.

The young girl seemed well on her way to recovery, smiling brightly from her hospital bed in the picture her dad shared to Instagram along with the caption.

The DJ had days earlier announced a collaboration album with Layton Girodani named Alto.

He also holds a residency in Ibiza, where the accident occurred, titled Resistance Residency at Amnesia Ibiza.
