Jessie J has revealed the sad truth behind an old performance amid her cancer news.
Earlier in the week, the 37-year-old singer revealed she’s been diagnosed with breast cancer and is set to undergo surgery.
In a follow-up post shared to her 13.9 million Instagram followers, the Price Tag singer revealed she had five breast biopsies done hours before taking the stage to perform.

“I had 5 breast biopsies the night before this show, I was in some discomfort but so hyped to do it and I didn’t want to cancel,” she candidly wrote.
The singer shared a clip from her show at Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in April.
“The more I watch this show back I can see my brain working in complete overdrive trying not to blurt it all out.”

”Laughing and making jokes in hard times 🤝🏻 me,” the singer said.
In the clip, the star joked about people confusing the title of her album, Who You Are.
At one point she said: ”Being truthful in who you are, not your mates or your family or everyone else, but like what you love and who you are, what makes you special.”

“That’s all I want you to focus on,” she said, then joking, “And my huge, perfect t-ts.”
The singer revealed her breast cancer diagnosis in an Instagram video posted on June 4.
The star said she was diagnosed “early” and has spent this year “in and out of tests” after receiving the news two months ago.
“Cancer sucks in any form, but I’m holding on to the word ‘early.'”

She then shared she would be undergoing surgery after her performance at the Summertime Ball in London on June 15.
“I am going to disappear for a bit after Summertime Ball to have my surgery, and I will come back with massive t-ts and more music,” she said.
Jessie J is known for hits like Price Tag, Bang Bang and Domino.
She is also a mother to two-year-old son Sky, whom she shares with basketball player Chanan Safir Colman.
