Israel’s defense minister has warned Hamas must accept the terms of a U.S.-backed proposal for a Gaza ceasefire “or be annihilated.” Hamas is reportedly negotiating amendments to the proposal. The threat came hours after President Trump said both sides are close to an agreement.
