Boston College has fired men’s basketball coach Earl Grant, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel and multiple reports, ending his five-year run at the school.
Grant has three seasons remaining on his contract, which had been extended through the 2028-29 campaign.
Boston College is the second ACC team to fire its coach Sunday after Georgia Tech dismissed Damon Stoudamire.
The Eagles went 11-20 this season and posted a 4-14 record in ACC play, finishing ahead of only the last-place Yellow Jackets (11-20, 2-16) in the conference standings.
Grant went 72-92 in his five years at Boston College, posting a winning record in only one season during that stretch.
